Callum was a previous student at the University of Chester and seeing someone from this same uni as my working for the BBC provides me with confidence landing a good job in the future. He works for CBeebies/CBBC designing UX/Ui that you can use on your smartphones.
Callum went on to discuss his journey before uni; he did a six-week placement at AKQA in London where he picked up an interest in designing digital experiences. This lead him onto specialise in digital design during his third year. Straight after graduating he worked at a digital agency in the Cheshire countryside, before joining the BBC as a Junior UX Designer in November 2013. This was a very inspiring lecture and felt relatable as I want to secure a job in Cheshire before moving onto bigger things.
